So, the last several weeks have been very, very busy... and difficult physically. Three days of geologic mapping in the middle of the Mohave Desert plus another two spent investigating Miocene era depositional environments in the San Gabriel mountains utterly decimated two consecutive weekends allowing for no chance of free time during the surrounding weeks at all.
